About the Project
We are good people and we care, we help others when we can. We are thoughtful and we are giving to those in need if we have it. But now it's my turn.... (Well, our son's turn.) I created a campaign for our son Ray, he is 12. He is severely dyslexic. He struggles on a daily basis just knowing where his left and right is. He struggles to read or retain anything in sequences. He's discouraged quite a lot and feels as if he's a failure at times. He gets frustrated as he thinks that he will never amount up to anything. We encourage him A LOT on a daily basis as he can eventually find his own system, his way to overcome the challenges ahead. We've been pushing him more and more not to listen to others' discouraging opinions/comments. We tell him that he is not alone and we are here. But he started taking the interests in nature photography and it's been two years with thousands of photos. Now it became a passion. We want him to pursue his goals. And so, we created a campaign for him to raise enough money to get him a camera and some lenses as this has been his frequent wish. As all of you know, they are pretty expensive. (Expensive enough that it's the same cost to purchase a used vehicle, basically.) And between having issues of our own...we want him to get a "chance" the "opportunity" in the art world. To show what he sees in the eyes of a child. (He's twelve, he's talented, some had said that he's too young to be responsible to have an equipment like this. But should still pursue it.....it doesn't make sense.) Furthermore, this is not to panhandle or abuse the funds. This is just for Ray. I've started the campaign at a low set goal to start. But if you would like to share this link with others, please feel free to do so and / or donate, he will really appreciate the help he can get. For those who have, he thanks you! Thank you!
